Snuck away from reality for a bit to come to one of my favorite places on campus to just bask in what will be one my last moments as an undergrad in a place I've called home these past years.  It's official, I finally declared Spring graduation and am undergoing preparations for my final months here.  SO SURREAL. Spent the past half hour reflecting on our time here with my roommate and how bittersweet these memories have been.  Moving forward is probably one of the most challenging things to embark on,  but it's our turn now, our time to grow up.

On another note, wearing things I'm currently obsessed with: shruggy oversized sweaters (I get scissor crazy), billowing dresses in the wind (which I've raised about a foot considering I would always trip over it at it's normal length), and my zara boots.  Seriously, when I love something I will wear it to death.  Case in point, these boots.  I wore them on a night of inebriated fun and well, they're not as pretty anymore. haha

Rain or shine, you'll always catch me in a pair of shorts; the true beauty of growing up in Southern California. My attempts to transition into spring resulted in the most mundane of all get-ups, but definitely the comfiest, something I've been craving for some time.  Earlier today, Tran and I strolled down USC's Rose Garden before catching the premiere of Disney's African Cats (amazing cinematography), which will be out on Earth Day.  Be sure to catch it during opening week because Disney will donate a part of their ticket sales to the African Wildlife Foundation for the Amboseli Corridor project!  As much as I love the concrete jungle, there's nothing more that I enjoy then wildlife.  To this day, I still hope that I will one day be able to open up an adoption center.

Fuze Interview

A snippet of last Friday's interview with Fuze.  My attempts to cordially squeeze the interview in between classes was an absolute failure. haha.  Long story short, I was a half hour late to my lab.  I alongside many others all over L.A., Miami, and New York were interviewed for Fuze's new online video series where they interviewed individuals regarding their personal style and the city they represented.  I am mortified of public speaking and especially being recorded, so to sum up the interview in one word: awkward. lol It was super windy that day so every second spent was me pulling hair out of my mouth.  This dress is one of my favorite pieces in my entire closet and has major sentimental value.  Tran gifted it to me when I got into UCLA <3.  It's been a while since I've had it and I have yet to take it out due to the glamour of its design: deep low back cut with beaded-sequin satin straps and an asymmetrical hemline.  The bottom half is perfect for this upcoming Spring and I have a feeling you'll be seeing it a lot more :)
